Welcome to the May addition of our monthly Newsletter! We are all looking forward to another wonderful month here at Bush school. April came with lots of excitement and lots of rain to which the children enjoyed. The children in Preschool 2 and Prep went on a big bus for our bush fire evacuation drill they all came back from the trip saying, “It was so much fun” and “that was fun can we go again”. We held an ANZAC day BBQ on Friday the 26th of April 2024 for all the children that attended the centre on Friday. The Sausages went down really well the children loved them. This was to Honor, celebrate and to remember all those who have served our country so proudly. For those serving, Our Poppins community say’s ‘Thank you’.
Excursioncoming up at Poppins
Our Preschool 1 room is having an excursion tothe Tamworth Marsupial Park on Monday 6th May and Thursday 9thMay 2024. The children are very exited to go. On Wednesday 1st May2024 they did a trial run from the room to walk out to the bus and try out thenew child car seats. This was to get them use to going on the bus for theexcursion. We had a few tears as some children thought that they were going, andthat “Miss Mary needed to come drive them”.
Our Preschool 2 room is having a change of dayfor the Nazareth House excursion that they have been going on every week. It ismoving from Monday to Thursday as of the 9th May 2024.
Lastly but most importantly
We wish all Mother’s, Grandmother’s and GreatGrandmothers a Happy Mother’s Day on the 12th May 2024. Yourbrilliance continues to shine each day through the love and guidance you giveour children at Poppins. Warmest wishes for a wonderful day 🌸
